Evening & Weekend Carer Support this Christmas
​
WIRED recognises that Carers often need support outside of standard office hours and as a result has an evening and weekend service offer that includes the Carers Helpline
(0151 670 0777) and Digital Tea and Chat sessions via Zoom.
​
Over Christmas, WIRED have the following out of hours services available.
The additional provision below will be available to support carers whilst normal carer support services are closed.

​Saturday 13th December – Weekend carers helpline session 9am – 12 noon
Wednesday 17th December 2005 – Late carers helpline session 5pm – 8pm
Saturday 20th December – Weekend carers helpline session 9am – 12 noon
Saturday 27th December – Weekend carers helpline session 9am – 12 noon
Monday 29th December – Festive period carers helpline cover session 9am – 12 noon
Tuesday 30th December – Festive period carers helpline cover session 5pm – 8pm
Tuesday 30th December – Festive period carers Digital Tea and Chat – 7pm – 8pm (Click here to join)
Wednesday 31st December – Festive period carers helpline cover 9am – 12 noon
Friday 2nd January 2026 – Normal carers helpline hours resume
Saturday 3rd January 2026 – Weekend carers helpline session 9am – 12 noon

WIRED’s standard carer support services will close for the festive period on the
24th December at 1pm and re-open on 2nd January 2026 at 9am.
