2pm to 5pm - 11th June
We will kick the afternoon session off by welcoming newly arrived conference participants and sharing some of the fantastic services we have on the Wirral supporting Carers in their daily lives. Carers will be able to peruse the Carers Marketplace and speak to organisations along the way to get advice and support in their caring roles.

The Theatre will host an array of presentations over the afternoon for Carers and Organisations attending to sit and engage with. An excellent opportunity to hear what other Carer projects are being planned, including Commissioned Services regarding statutory support and why organisations are looking at changes happening in the future.
​
Carers will also be invited to take part in some of the workshops on offer. Again, Carers will be able to submit questions, with a selection being presented to the panel of key organisational representatives to share their thoughts and opinions, answering the Carer points that have been raised.

There will be occasions throughout the session to engage with other conference participants in the Plaza, sharing lived experience, ideas and support options and on an individual basis, in a more private area of the complex if required.

Conference Sessions
Each Session, Morning, Afternoon or Evening, are bookable separately.
Conference attendees are welcome to book multiple sessions if they wish to participate for longer across the day.
Morning Session
10am to 1pm - 11th June
The morning session will start with an opportunity to explore the Market Place of support services and participate in the Carer Workshops where you can ask those important questions in readiness for the 'Conference Panel' of Special Guests and Decision Makers that will be held later on in the Theatre.

Organisations will be using Theatre space to present to a larger audience of Carers and conference participants through out the morning, sharing information on the Carer services and potential focus areas for improving those services. These theatre sessions are available to conference participants and those that support Carers on Wirral.
​
Carers are encouraged to network with peers in the Plaza, as well as seeking 1-2-1 advice from experts and taking time out with some wellbeing techniques and health advice if desired in the Tivoli suite.
Break out area's are available to enjoy a comfort break and cuppa in the Panoramic Lounge.

Afternoon Session
Evening Session
5pm to 8pm - 11th June
The 'Commitment to Carers' conference will finish with the last session of the day and chance to reflect on all of the amazing contacts made and support offered.
Carers and Participants joining us in the evening will have the same access to Organisations and Support Services within the Marketplace, opportunities to network and seek advice, information and resources to support them in the caring role and in turn, those they care for.

The Theatre will be hosting informative presentations and panel discussions after the evening workshops have finished, to ensure we end the day on the same high we started the day with.

There will be an art exhibition installation, 'The Art of Caring through Powerful Pictures' available all day, a powerful way to improve understanding of a "Day in the Life of a Carer", their role in society, their contribution to the Health and Social Care System as well as the support and sacrifices they make daily to care for their loved ones.
Accompanying the Carers Art will be an Interactive Board that will be capturing the days events and participants experiences along the way. Carers and Organisations will also be able to make comments and add their opinions on a 'Future for Carers' - what needs to be improved to change the lives of Carers for the better.
A day to Celebrate Wirral Carers and make a Commitment to Supporting Carers in their caring role.
